The PTT Philippines Corporation Bakajuan Year 2: Back to the Mangroves Celebration included an on-the-spot poster making contest that was held at the San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Cavite, St. Thomas of Villanova Main Library last March 17, 2015.

The art contest was participated by College and High school students coming from different PTT partner-schools from the Province of Cavite, like the Noveleta National High School, Cavite State University, St. Dominic College of Asia, Noveleta National High School and San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Cavite. The contest was divided into two categories, the high school and college category. Each school was represented by either two or three participants for both of the categories. As the event organizer, PTT Philippines Corporation provided all the necessary art materials. The entries were judged based on the following criteria: relevance to the theme (40%), creativity (35%), overall impact (15%), and online voting/FB Likes (10%) with a total of 100%. Three winners each was chosen from the two categories.

The awarding ceremony was held during the Mangrove Planting activity at the Coastal Bay City, Barangay San Rafael IV, Noveleta, Cavite last March 28, 2015. The art contest awarding ceremony was dominated by the SSC-R de Cavite contestants. For the college category, all of the three representatives of SSC-R de Cavite won: Francis John T. Chavez, a BS Criminology student (1st Place), Arnold I. Aguilar, a BS Computer Engineering student (2nd Place), and Krizza Jowanna Marie S. Barzaga, a BS Information Technology student (3rd Place). Also for the high school category, both representatives of SSC-R de Cavite, won: Ranz Christian D. Custodio (2nd Place) and Josef Edward J. Tafalla (3rd Place). Each winner was given a gift certificate, certificate of recognition, and trophy.
