A thanksgiving mass, motorcade and testimonial banquet was held by SSC-R de Cavite to honor the success of its BS Accountancy and BS-Criminal Justice graduates who passed the 2009 CPA Board Examination and Criminologist Board Examination, respectively.

The thanksgiving mass was held last November 14 at 8:00am at the SSC-R Main Campus Chapel. This was followed by a motorcade which traversed the main thoroughfares of Cavite City, Noveleta, Rosario, Tanza and Kawit. Tarpaulins, with pictures of the board passers, were hanged on the school bus of SSC-R, the vehicle used by the board passers and some members of the JPIA and JPCA during the motorcade. Posters for each of the board passers and colorful balloons, were attached to the vehicles that participated in the motorcade. In the afternoon, a forum with the CPA board passers was held at the SSC-R Main Campus Auditorium.

SSC-R de Cavite also held a testimonial banquet in honor of the new CPAs and Criminologists at Servando’s Restaurant, Rosario, Cavite last November 29.  Rev. Fr. Emilio P. Jaruda, Jr., OAR, SSC-R de Cavite’s President, delivered an inspirational message to the board passers and Rev. Fr. Julius M. Marcos, OAR, SSC-R de Cavite’s Vice President for Academics, delivered a congratulatory message. Both gave very meaningful and heartwarming messages which focused on the new professionals’ commitment to serve God, country and community.
