The Religious and Lay Administrators of San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Cavite
(SSC-RdC) gathered together for a 3-day Institutional Planning Activity, held from
April 28-30, 2016 at St. Scholastica’s Retreat House, Tagaytay City. The planning
activity was organized by the Accreditation, Planning and Development Office (APDO)
headed by Dr. Belinda M. Quinio, Accredition, Planning and Development Officer and
was facilitated by Dr. Rodrigo F. Ponce, Director of the Expanded Tertiary Education,
Equivalency and Accreditation Program of San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila.
During the planning activity, the participants reviewed the current Vision, Mission,
Values and Objectives of SSC-RdC and revisited its 10 point agenda (SSC-RdC Thrusts).
The State of the Office Address from the different VP offices were presented by respective
representatives, while State of the School address by the President. The consolidated
SWOT analysis was also discussed and the existing 5-year development plan was evaluated;
a write shop for the formulation of the new Goal and Thrust of the school for the
next 5-years and its long-term, short-term objectives and strategies were also in
the agenda.
The 3-day planning ended with the finalization of the 5-year Development Plan, formulation
of the Annual Operational Plan, and a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Rev. Fr.
Cristituto A. Palomar, OAR, President.
