Sebastinian Community celebrates the Mass of the Holy Spirit

     San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Cavite Community celebrated the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit on June 27, 2017 at the Recoletos 4th Centennial Gymnasium. The Eucharistic celebration aimed to call upon the Holy Spirit to shower the community with blessings and guide all the Sebastinians as they start the new academic year 2017-2018. The Eucharistic celebration was presided by Rev. Fr. Edgardo P. Tubio, OAR, 4th Councilor and President of Secretariat of Ministerial & Mission Apostolate of the Province of St Ezekiel Moreno, Order of the Augustinian Recollects (OAR).

   After the mass, the logo of the Year of Holiness “Called to be Saints” was unveiled. As stated by Fr. Miguel Miró, prior general in the official website of the OAR (http://www.agustinosrecoletos.com/year-of-holiness-2017/?lang=en), “this year coincides with several events that recall the holiness of the brothers and sisters, Augustinian Recollects. This initiative of dedicating a year to sanctity can promote the revitalization of the Order and help To discover the Augustinian Recollect charism as a sure and sure way to be saints.”
